Overview

The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing supports the development of and drives execution for brand strategy from brand planning through marketing activation. This role plays a pivotal role in helping people get to know, trust and recognize us, building affinity and attraction for the OPTAVIA brand. The person in this role will develop global brand content and work in collaboration with regional marketing teams to ensure consistent delivery and stewardship of our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and execution of the global brand strategy.
  • Responsible for the enhancement of global brand guidelines and visual identity system and ensures consistency of brand execution across markets.
  • Ensure comprehensive execution of creative and messaging strategies to drive effectiveness and consistency across all marketing channels inclusive of digital.

  • Drives strategy and execution for integrated marketing campaigns including, but not limited to product commercialization and brand campaigns.
  • Tracks, analyzes and reports program results to ensure strategies and tactics are working and to optimize business outcomes.
  • Partner with creative agencies to support brand strategy through creative integrated marketing plans and other brand asset development.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, best practice sharing, competitive benchmarking and expertise on our evolving landscape.
  • Supports projects as a brand advocate and ambassador with a mastery of our brand principles, mission and communication goals.
  • Partner with internal departments on various projects including digital program support, consumer and competitive research, etc.
  • Budget management.
  • Supports VP, Marketing in other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of brand management and marketing experience in roles with advancing responsibility
  • Self-starter with the ability to see a project from concept to launch with little supervision.
  • Must have a creative eye and disciplined regard for aesthetic.
  • Strong marketing aptitude, including strategic direction setting, campaign conceptualization, execution and measurement.
  • Proven success creating and executing effective marketing strategies, with the ability to communicate that vision in a pragmatic way using benchmarking and key metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, including the ability to write in a compelling and authoritative style.
  • Must possess strong formal and informal leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage conflict and problem solve in a highly-collaborative environment
