To assist with the movement of all materials that are both in and out bound to the facility.  Materials are stored in warehouse area until needed on Production floor.  Once items are requested in Production, drivers are responsible to safely move pallets of product to designation/staging areas for Production staff to retrieve for filling customer orders.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Operates forklift, pallet jack (manual or electric). Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Able to load and unload trucks and complete internal movements by using several types of Forklift equipment daily at an average greater than 10 pallets per hour.
  • Moving of palletized materials for safe storage until needed by production and/or manufacturing as required to maintaining production levels with inventory accuracy levels of 99%.
  • Put-aways must be completed in a timely manner and in assigned locations with a safety level of 99% accident/damage free.
  • Complete material pull-lists with 99% accuracy and according to company time guidelines.
  • Complete material outbound transfers with 99% accuracy and according to company time guidelines.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness by keeping areas organized and free of debris.

Qualifications

Driver must be able to pass inter-company forklift certification in order to drive company equipment.  Driver must be able to follow all Safety guideline at all times.  Drive must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.  Driver must be able to move at a steady pace for long periods of time in order to maintain the high level of pallet intake and movements needed on a daily basis.

 

  • One year minimum experience on Electric lifts and must pass company certification
  • Must be able to read and write English at a HS level/ be able to follow written and verbal directions
