The Director of ERP sets the strategic direction, in partnership with business leaders, for Finance and Supply Chain solutions.  This role is the primary interface between all business stakeholders and the IT department for ERP and leads a team that is responsible for 24/7 oversight for a number of business critical platforms that are core to Medifast. The Director of ERP and their team will control and maintain the various platforms, while working with our vendor partners, the IT Service Desk, and our Development teams for troubleshooting production issues and establishing timeframes for product release.


  • Act as the primary point of contact with IT teams, vendor partners and key contacts in the Medifast organization to provide best-in class service & support for critical Medifast ERP business systems. Provide oversight & direction for the day to day technical operation of the mutli-channeled ecommerce environment, including collaboration and support for all integrated platforms and business processes.
  • Provide technical management and oversight to the ERP Support Team on projects and production support releases. Work with internal business partners to identify system performance or defects. Understand and become a subject matter expert on the various ERP platforms and integrations like Oracle, Navision, Blue Yonder (fka JDA), and Exigo.
  • Partner with other IT teams such as Engineering, Infrastructure, and Enterpise Data Hub, to provide guidance on design and strategy on hardware & application software solutions, such as data management, data base performance, and integrated platform updates and enhancements.
  • Partner with the business leaders in Finance and Supply Chain on ongoing strategic solutions to support Medifast. Participate in prioritization of work efforts in conjunction with department & business objectives, and participate in architecture reviews to provide input and recommendations relating to ERP processes.
  • Engage with third party technical and engineering teams to ensure existing and new integrations to third party applications including order management, catalog management, email service provider, analytics providers, and payment processors are working and implemented correctly. Regularly engage in business performance review with our vendors to identify any anomalies, issues, or opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly performance statistics for key ERP applications; engage in regular quarterly audit reviews focused on access provisioning, release and change management processes as required.
  • Provide consistent leadership and guidance to the ERP staff, ensuring up/downward communication is actively administered and that the staff is made aware of, and held accountable to, departmental and company-wide processes and policies. Ensure all security & governance processes such as access provisioning, release and change management are consistently adhered to with the staff and with our vendor partners.
  • Conduct regular team and individual meeting with staff to provide guidance and direction as needed for employee development and engagement. Administer annual performance reviews to staff in accordance with our Core Values, Operating Principles, and Success Drivers; address inadequate performance swiftly and with the necessary corrective actions to improve.


  • B.A or, Information Technology or Computer Science related degree, or a commensurate combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ Years progressive technical experience with Supply Chain, Finance, and ERP systems, including Oracle Cloud, Navision, Exigo and Blue Yonder (fka JDA)
  • 5+ years experience managing software implementation process, including implementation and QA; experience working in an ITIL and Agile environment is desired.
  • 6-10 years of progressive leadership experience managing multiple teams, vendors, and locations.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and a confidence in working with executive leaders within the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to consistently “peel the onion” to uncover opportunities for improvement with our team and our business and vendor partners.
  • Prior experience working with a direct selling or MLM enterprise is beneficial.
  • Ability to be on-call 24/7 as a senior leader for any critical or high priority incidents impacting our business operations.
