Overview

Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing strategy and program elements. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing, guiding and training digital marketers and other marketing positions in the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate digital marketing team members to create marketing initiatives across all digital channels and platforms that drive company and brand business objectives.
  • Owns digital and social media strategy, campaigns, programs, toolkits, martech, brand /creative guidelines and content assets - heavily shaped by insights/needs from field including Coaches
  • Produce compelling, impactful programs that acquire new clients and build loyalty among existing clients and coaches.
  • Accountable for the performance of digital agencies (creative and media) and consultants.
  • Works with 3rd party partners (e.g. Google, Social platforms Facebook, Twitter, etc) to identify growth and enhancement opportunities and create net new digital programs to drive acquisition.
  • Measure, monitor, optimize and report on all digital marketing efforts or digital campaigns, derive insights that lead to actionable outcomes.
  • Responsible for Marketing Analytics, supporting KPI development, dashboards, measurement and sharing learning
  • Overall responsibility for strategy of both the Shareholder (Medifast Inc.) and Public facing sites (OPTAVIA.com), collaborating with business owners who are responsible for content.
  • Responsible for Social Media Strategy development, rollout of program elements and execution, content calendar development, content production, determining paid support, analytics and optimization and other related tasks.
  • In addition, Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for devising plans to scale up a digital acquisition model in partnership with ad agency of record and media buying agency. This digital platform will have a dedicated team responsible for implementing digital campaigns geared to drive awareness, consideration and conversion at a targeted cost per client.

Qualifications

Experience/Skills

  • 10-12 years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
  • In depth knowledge of different digital marketing channels and hands-on experience with direct to consumer ecommerce platform, Paid Digital Media, Social Media, SEM/SEO, Google Analytics and CRM software
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Bachelor’s Degree
