  • Overview

    The Sr. Manager, HRBP will partner with functional business leaders and associates within Medifast to implement key HR processes and programs. This role is responsible for providing HR support in the areas of employee relations, compliance, compensation, talent management, and organizational change. 


    The Sr. Manager, HRBP aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. The successful Sr. Manager, HRBP will act as employee champion and change agent, assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and formulates partnerships to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.


    • The Sr. Manager, HRBP will coach and counsel departmental managers and directors on staff management responsibilities: employee development/training; performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Responsible for performing investigations, disciplinary actions, action plans and provide counsel to employees and management regarding employee relations issues.
    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
    • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
    • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
    • Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
    • Communicate Medifast’s corporate policies and procedures; providing guidance and interpretation.


    • Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree or HR certification a plus.
    • 7+ years’ experience managing human resources functions, with a proven track record of success.
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize & meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast paced and changing environment
    • Demonstrated project management experience.
    • Demonstrated coaching and advisory experience.
    • Detailed knowledge of theory, trends and progressive practices in HR.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated experience in supporting management with change initiatives.
    • Ability to work independently, including specific HR initiatives.
