  • Overview

    The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will be responsible for helping build operational excellence through process improvement, systems, data and analytics. Using key performance indicators and their system and process expertise, this role will be responsible for driving standardization across the supply chain including both domestic and international operations. Primary responsibilities include understanding and analyzing processes and data as well as building and maintaining an understanding of Medifast’s operations and systems. The ideal candidate is an organized person with attention to detail who enjoys learning new systems and processes.


    • Partner with cross-functional teams on process improvement and best practices.
    • Establish and support a regular cadence of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting needs of the supply chain including key performance and accountability metrics.
    • Assist in the development, standardization and implementation of documentation including process flows, standard operating procedures, business templates and operational updates.
    • Assist with all supply chain IT projects including ERP and warehouse implementations.
    • Analyze data sets and identify trends in the supply chain to use to drive process improvements.
    • Assist in the building, analysis and execution of RFPs for transportation, logistics, manufacturing and warehousing.
    • Analyze current-state processes and makes recommendations for strategic improvements in processes that are streamlined and/or cross-functional approaches. Develops proposals and action plans.
    • Creates dashboards, scorecards, and other metrics based on the needs of the senior management. Provides analytical support to interpret and implement the findings in these metrics.
    • Other ad hoc responsibilities in support of the supply chain.


    • Bachelor degree, preferably in supply chain, business administration or related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain
    • Expert in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
    • Experience in ERP, warehousing and other supply chain systems (Oracle and Red Prairie a plus).
    • Must have ability to pivot quickly and adapt to new direction and requests based on business need.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation skills to effectively interact with all teams and all areas and levels of business.
    • Intellectual curiosity and a “figure it out” mentality.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail required. Must be capable of defining, analyzing and working to resolve complicated problems.
    • A demonstrated desire to work independently, while exhibiting a high degree of flexibility, self-motivation, and accountability.
