  • Overview

    The Event Coordinator role assists with event logistical facets of a diverse portfolio of US Market events as assigned. This position is responsible for assisting the planning and execution of events ranging from 300 to 15,000 attendees. Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that strategic objectives are met, budget targets are met or exceeded, and internal and external customer satisfaction is high. This position requires supervision and is responsible to assist with making a wide range of critical decisions, working closely as part of an overall high performance team.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinates support logistics, internal and external communication.
    • Coordinates event registration and logistics.
    • Initiates the creation of various printed and digital event media and assets with the Creative team.
    • Assists with hotels, travel, and special requests associated with bookings including group transportation.
    • Participates and supports local, regional, and national events when needed.
    • Actively contributes to the improvement of event standards and processes.
    • Assists with expense reports, invoices, and budget reconciliation.
    • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once and provide project status updates weekly.
    • Provides an extremely high level of hospitality and impeccable customer service. Works well under pressure and has the ability to maintain a calm presence.
    • Duties may include creating spreadsheets, presentations, maintaining files, creating event binders, and production books.
    • Other projects as assigned by the Events Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Associates Degree or relevant experience.
    • 1-2 years’ experience in event planning preferred but not required.
    • Experience in network marketing and/or health and wellness industries preferred.
    • Strong communication, attention to detail, organizing and planning skills (including the ability to multi-task).
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
    • Ability to travel (40%) and work evenings/weekends.
    • Creative thinking and the ability to approach things differently.
    • Accountability to take full ownership of tasks and projects.
    • Hunger for continuous improvement and a desire to be challenged.
    • Team spirit, works well within a small, high performance team.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills that allow you to get points across clearly and concisely.
