  • Overview

    The Sales Operations Analyst will build and use datasets to be used by cross-functional teams. Primary responsibilities include providing data assessments, detailed analysis, and reporting that helps to track and measure KPI performance across the Supply Chain. This role will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process. The ideal candidate is an organized person who is able to prioritize their work and focus on the most urgent projects first.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and support a regular cadence of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting needs of the team.
    • Assist in the development and reporting of key performance metrics (Vendor Scorecards), maintain dashboards and provide spend reporting for the Sourcing/Purchasing team.
    • Using data from multiple sources, proactively identify for gaps and analyze for customer order service issues. Elevate concerns to management to be addressed.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to help drive education on sales processes, operational updates, and best practices. Work with cross functional teams to assess evolving business needs and translate them into reporting analytic solutions.
    • Review the integrity of data used for analysis, and work with team members and data partners to develop, improve and automate reporting that drives insight and action.
    • Assist in the development, standardization and implementation of various reporting including S&OP, production outputs, inventory days on hand, inventory turns, forecasting and status, sales vs forecast, service level, OTIF (on-time and in-full), productivity, cost savings, etc.
    • Lead weekly product supply calls to review out-of-stocks, upcoming risks and service disruptions (report including SKU, issue, date of impact, expected stock-in, actions required by team and current status).
    • Other ad hoc responsibilities in support of sales operations and supply chain.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree, preferably in business administration/finance or related field and 3-5 years of experience in a sales analytics, sales operations or sales finance position.
    • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint and other supply chain systems experience a plus (Microsoft NAV, Oracle, Red Prairie, DSX or similar).
    • Must have ability to pivot quickly and adapt to new direction and requests based on business need.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation skills to effectively interact with all teams and all areas and levels of business.
    • Intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently
