  • Overview

    The Digital Strategy Manager for Medifast Direct will develop, implement, track and optimize the performance of digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels domestically and internationally. This person will demonstrate proven knowledge and success in managing external partnerships as well as indirectly managing internal resources. This person will also establish direction while encouraging improvement and innovation. This role is also expected to develop and maintain the digital planning calendar as well as manage all digital asset approvals.


    • Develop and execute all digital marketing campaigns within the organization
    • Ensure effective control of online marketing results, and suggest corrective action to guarantee that achievement of company objectives occurs within designated budgets
    • Conduct market research and adjust marketing strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions
    • Assist in implementing all tracking mechanisms on websites and/or digital elements and monitor website analytics and online conversations
    • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners to interpret insights and drive action plan to implement improvements
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create digital assets, landing pages and optimize user experience
    • Manage the ongoing efforts of the Digital Commerce team (acquisition, product, email, website, etc) to ensure they are aligned.
    • Develop and document digital processes to maximize efficiencies in a fast-paced environment
    • Create and manage the monthly digital advertising calendar


    • BS/MS degree in marketing or related field
    • 5+ years in digital marketing and advertising execution or program management
    • Strong analytic, reporting, and financial background
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, social media, affiliate and display advertising campaigns
    • Demonstrable experience managing vendor/agency partnerships
    • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practices 
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
    • Thorough knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, etc)
    • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
    • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
