Overview

The Business Process Manager will partner with Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing on cross-functional processes. The Business Process Manager will report to the VP of Product Development and may be directed to work on related supply chain project using a stage gate process. The Business Process Manager will have one direct report, the Supply Chain Product Manager. Markets to be focused on are Domestic & International.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identifies cross-functional operational processes and standards to business practices within Supply Chain.
  • Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement within Supply Chain business units and cross-functional business partners.
  • Provides effective leadership, direction and coaching to direct and indirect reports including, but not limited to, delegating, staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations.
  • Develops and executes savings opportunities, efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Actively identifies future Supply Chain needs and opportunities based on date, business unit needs, performance improvement opportunities and market analysis.
  • Collect and provide performance measures, develop reports, and analyze findings to identify areas for process improvement (project prioritization).
  • Takes part in creating solutions, implementing and integrating solutions and managing the evolution
  • Develops action plans and processes, in coordination with management team, for integrating activities and optimizing department resources to meet major goals and objectives.
  • Understand customer's business drivers and changes in priorities. Leads and owns engagements with remote groups: Vendors, employees in other Medifast facilities and departments
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications and documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree; MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years consulting for Supply Chain.
  • Must have proven business knowledge of Supply Chain processes, project management and stage gate process management. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and experience with international markets are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams.
